AD4GD showcased an oral presentation on terrestial connectivity based on Landsat/Sentinel Land Cover Classes as a biodiversity indicator and a poster on Digital Twin ready data for the European Green Deal Data Space.
Data Spaces Symposium
Data spaces are key to achieving sovereign, interoperable and trustworthy data-sharing across businesses and societies – a key step to the data economy of the future. The Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA) is accelerating business transformation in the data economy uniting industry players to realize a data-driven future in which organizations and individuals can unlock the full value of their data. The Data Spaces Business Alliance are Gaia-X European Association for Data and Cloud AISBL, the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), FIWARE Foundation, and the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA).
In addition, the Data Spaces Support Centre is contributing to the creation of common data spaces collectively creating a data sovereign, interoperable and trustworthy data sharing environment, to enable data reuse within and across sectors, fully respecting EU values, and supporting the European economy and society.
The Data Spaces Symposium provides a meeting place for experts to share their perspectives and generate new opportunities over three days. The last of them, the European Data Spaces Day, focuses on practical applications, use cases and educational activities related to discussions on the future of data spaces, aligning with the European Strategy for Data.
Members of the AD4GD project will be present during the symposium to discuss, present our perspectives on the Green Deal Data Space and forge partnerships with the experts gathered for this occasion.
